Most geniuses are not just born that way, but are taught valuable lessons very early in life that help hone and nurture their development in a certain field. In other words, geniuses, with the right environment and guidance, can be created from any child. Most geniuses have knowledgeable parents who are quick to recognize the natural interests of a child in a field, and are quick to encourage the child to get better at it.
Children cannot be forced to be geniuses. They have to have an interest in something to achieve great things. When that interest is there, it then becomes easier for the parents to reinforce it. I have read of many unhappy children who are pressured into being above average performers in certain fields, and this is totally unacceptable. When children want to learn, they can soak up things like a sponge and so there is no need for external pressure, only careful guidance.
It’s amazing to think that many who are regarded as geniuses today were ‘average’ children (Einstein was even considered below average in school), but developed a passion for excellence in what they do thanks to the right environment and guidance.
